 Jed the Jet Boat DriverI'm Jed the jet boat driver. Jet boats are amazing, I can drive in a river even if there isn't a lot of water. This is because jet boats don't use propellers like lots of other boats, they draw the water from the river into a pump jet inside the boat and then squirts the water out the back of the boat. Guess what? A New Zealander by the name of Bill Hamilton developed the fist modern jet boat in 1954. Being a Kiwi is awesome! I have so much fun driving jet boats because I can do so many cool things with them like crash stopping and jet spins and make lots of water spray up. And I can get really close to the sides of the river. Have you ever been on jet boat? It's a great way to see some of our beautiful country. |
